Am I too young???

Well, I just recently found out that I have osteoarthritis. I'm only 26 and was shocked. The specialist informed me that it's rather progressed for my age. Anyone else dealing with this? Mine is in my neck (cervical spine) and is accompanied by 2 slipped discs and something they call "military neck". How do you cope with it? Am I really too young for this?
