Wow!!! Finally i got a BUNCH of Emails from Mylot.com...

yep it is three days later and I am still sorting through my emails that came flooding in, there are just so many of them, but I am happy I like it much better this way.

I ALWAYS use the notifications this way sweety and I get lost trying to cope without them! Have fun! xxx

yeah its nice that finnaly e-mail notification working again and i hope its gonna working normally if not i would be disappointed cause it means that i would be late to post response to my friends discussion, including you, my friend

usuaally ya get tehm every day after you put notify on . and I got really over loaded yesterday dont know what ahd happened but some of them were a day old. but I did get them all answered!

I seldom use email to contact with my friends.Before i find mylot and post discussions and responses on mylot,i nearly don't open my email.But now my email is full of emails from mylot.The notifications of my friends discussions and the mylot digest.I glad to see that .now i have a habit to open my email everyday. I have not be on mylot for more than one month before.So can you imagine there are so many emails for me to read and response.I read parts of the tatal one day.but everyday there will be new emails to come out.so till now i still have not read all of the emails.but i will insisted on.i will not delete the emails without looking.

its nice. its also easier to respond to the discussions that your friend started. i also use to answer few from email notification. but the times i am here, i browse through discussion my friends started many times to answer as much as i can.

Yeah. Mylot held on to them for quite some time. Alot of members say it is a glitch in the system. I have no clue. We always got the digest but no email alerts accept foe when someresponded to a older discussion. My poor mailbox has over 600 email alerts in it now. It will take me forever to get caught back up. I would rather have alot of emails though, rather than none at all like it has been.

Yes, it is! I have 540 notifications still unread, wheoah! It is one good way to get to know more your friends and be updated of their discussions. For me, I see it as a good way to get to know them more by their discussions. You know how they feel, how they react to things and their concerns. It makes mylotting more fun and exciting. And you won't get bored with the number of notifications sent by mylot, you will have a good time, going over it one after the other. Others may not relate to you but most of it are somehow worth giving some response to, sharing what you have in mind and what you feel towards it. Whew! Smiles!

This is the only discussions I usually respond to, my friends emails. I think it is the most important advantage to having friends here in mylot. To get their discussions and responses sent directly to me through my email. This way I don't have to ever search for more discussions to respond to. I have over 4000 emails right now waiting for my attention, just from mylot. I am into March right now and almost finished and then I will start April's emails. Also this way, being behind, I get to reactivate my friends older discussions and that puts them back to the top for more people to see and respond to.

The only trouble with not getting them for a few days is that email boxes just tend to go into meltdown!! It will now take me absolutely ages to catch up with everyone, mind you I guess it will keep me out of mischief and keep me quiet for a while, and that can only be a good thing!! I do not know why it keeps happening that they do not always come through, unless it is just to keep us all on our toes!!

I just started myLot yesterday and was very pleased this morning when I checked my email and saw over 30 replies to all of my postings from yesterday. It's fun to know that so many people have opinions on my thoughts, whether they are trivial or a big deal. Happy posting!
