What other cars have you owned?

I have a Corolla and I am hooked on Toyota. My first car was a Ford Mustang - oil burner. My second car was a Buick - possessed by a haunted fuel filter. I don't miss them. My third car (which is also my fifth car) is my Toyota Corolla. My fourth car was my Tercel - not as special to my heart as my Corolla, which is why I found my baby and bought her back!! What other cars have you owned and do you miss them?

I own a locally made car. It's called a Proton Waja. I am thinking of buying a new car though. As soon as I can make enough money from the internet. The new car I'm planning on buying is the Toyota Altezza. A sports family sedan with turbo charge.

First car was a Buick Opel. Next, a Volvo. Next, a Ford Grand Torino (what a BOAT!) My first NEW car was Toyota Tercel 4WD wagon... LOVED it, wish I still had it, but it was "killed" by a deer! Um.... then a series of crappy cars, including Dodge Caravan, Chev (can't recall model, it was so crappy!), Mazda Protege... Now I own my parents' old car, 1987 Toyota Camry. LOVE it .. dependable, reliable, great gas mileage.

My first car ever (at 16) was a Mercury Comet... which my friends and I "lovingly" nicknamed The Green Machine. For all its troubles, at least it got me back and forth to college and my first part-time job (most days! LOL) My first brand new car was a Mazda 323 hatchback. I loved it. Was great on gas, comfortable to drive and I had it for years. Next, I leased a minivan - a Chevrolet Lumina. I loved it for the three years that I had it because my kids were still small and in car seats. I still had the Mazda when my first daughter was born and trying to manipulate yourself and an infant into the back of a two-door hatchback is just NO joy. The van was a blessing for its convenience and I actually just loved driving it. The leasing company was just a nightmare when I didn't want the vehicle anymore (of course, they never want them back and try to find a million things to charge you for so you'll just get fed up and keep the darn thing LOL) but outside of that it was a positive experience. I drove a junker for a couple of years when I moved out to the country. My ex was driving a new Hyundai something or other and I got a cheap car just to have wheels to get around for groceries or to take the kids where they needed to go. It was a nightmare, costing me more in repairs than the thing was worth. Very likely why I can't even remember what kind of car it was! I've now been driving a Honda Civic hatchback for the last few years. Love it! Great little car, excellent fuel economy and I have a fabulous mechanic (from whom I bought the car in the first place) that keeps it running well. I would definitely buy Honda again but may also lean towards a Toyota hybrid when my next new car is on the horizon.

Currently we have 2 CHEVY Malibus. Good reliable car. Before that we had a Toyota Tercel. Nice little car. Good on milage. Wish we had that now. We'd save a ton on gas. Before that my hubby owned a GMC Sonoma truck.
