Did you go "natural" for the birth of your child?

The doc told me after several miscarriages that I would never be able to carry a baby full term. I was tilted wrong. After the baby got to a certain weight, it would just slip out. I proved them wrong. I had my son by natural child birth. I didn't want to miss any part of the joy of having a baby...and I sure didn't! I was in hard labor for almost 3 full days, and FELT every moment of it. And you know what? I'd do it again in a heart beat...lols

Congratulations for the birth of your son....Yeah i had a natural birth of about 5 hrs labor which was of course painful, but as you said the gift of l;ife is worth it all.Wow 3 days is pretty long but as long as you are happy, nothing's too difficult...

Yes, both of my labors were natural, though my second one was more so as I had to have an episiotomy with my first born. I probably could have avoided it all together, but with it being my first pregnancy I was scared of giving birth (what woman isn't? LOL) and the doctor gave me that little cut to help get my baby out. With my second son I had him completely natural. I love stories where the doctor is proven wrong. It just goes to show they are only human. Congratulations on having a successful pregnancy and delivery!

All of the women in my family go natural, that is just how we are, so if I have a baby, I am going to have to go natural as well.

Your baby is a miracle... Congratulations on your lovable miracle... he is worth and all the pain... my baby was like 3 days overdue... and it felt like i was in labor for 2 weeks because of all those braxton hicks contractions... And when i was in real labor... i though i can stand the pain... but then my doctor was having a lot of trouble with me... so we opted for the epidural... which i think is heaven sent...

Congratulation for having a new baby, well thats the prize of being a mother the feeling is full field when you saw your baby comes out. I delivered all my babies trough cesarean but the first time I have to a hard labor for almost one day but no pain at all until they make a final decision to have a cesarean because my babies are twins and the girl has a big head and can't go out.

Congrats!!! I went throught natural childbirth twice. I have a week uterous so my children were both born premature. My first son was born two months early after 48 hours of hard labor. But my second son decided to join this world four months early after 76 hours of hard labor. But you know even after all that pain. If I could have a child that was not premature then I would do it all over again. It may be painful but it is the most amazing thing in the world.

3 days of labor? Wow that was hard. Yes I had my son through natural birth procedure. I remember that my water bag broke in the morning and from then on had to take several walks in the hospital as my doctor kept saying the opening was still small. So i have to walk around with all that pain to get the opening big enough to let the child out. IT was more than 9 hours and glad it was over before midnight. I will still do it again in natural birth even though its painful but its more painful I guess to have that scar in C-section and with the limiting number of children you can have. Cheers!
