Hi naseef.my mother tongue is same as yours so sometime I also use the same word "namaskaram" but very rarely. But mostly the word that I use depends on the person next to me.
But while chatting with my online friends I mostly use "ASSALAMUALAIKUM" which is a islamic word which means may ALLAH's blessing be on you .you would be knowing this because I use this with you also. But I use this with muslim people only. With others I mean those who arenot muslims or malayali then i use good morning etc.Its good to listen that in other language.
Happy mylotting.
keep smiling.

My language is Danish, and when we want to say "Good morning" we use the words "God morgen" so it is kind of similar to the English words. "God aften" means "Good evening" and "Godnat" means "Good night".
Interesting question by the way. I like reading the replies, it's always nice to learn a bit of other languages.
