Do you believe that children have to use internet?

Children are too sensitive to use internet. There are thinks that there are not good for them such as violence. I know that there are programs that protect the children, and also recomended to parents to take care what their children search at internet but none of them can protect them . So how can someone really protect his/her child? Be like a policeman, talk to him?
