I rarely have time to read the discussions here let alone post to them even though I wish I could as many of you I am sure are very smart and could be great business owners if you only had the right mentor, but I just wanted to comment on something I have observed.
Most people searching for easy money online will never make any.
Why? Because people are looking for the easy ride. I have run successful businesses online for almost ten years, and I have learned one thing, there is no such thing as an easy ride.
You see, smart marketers know that the average person would rather learn how to do something than actually do it. 99% of the programs out there are going to try and skim the surface of those looking for an opportunity, get you to pay a few bucks for something, and in the end you are really no further ahead than when you started.
Another thing I have noticed is the average person really does not have the self discipline necessary to be successful in business. This isnt a slam, its just the truth. If you feel like I am being critical of you, instead of getting mad, why dont you change it?Finally, and most importantly, I think people who think they can succeed without mentorship are totally ignorant of how the world really works. Yes, you CAN succeed if you fail enough times over and over and over again, learning from every single mistake. But the cost of that is your entire life, where at the end you will have the wisdom but you will have spent your life acquiring it and you have no time left to achieve something great. Mentors knock decades off your learning curve, and are absolutely critical to your success. So my reccommendation is, if you havent gotten a mentor yet, start looking and I mean now.
It also doesnt hurt to have more than one mentor. For example I have mutiple mentors for different areas of my life, a financial mentor may not also be the best relationship mentor, and vice versa. The book I read says 'A wise man has many counselors' - it doesnt say one counselor, and it certainly doesnt say NO counselors.
I wish you all success and truly hope you can overcome the hurdles in your way, more important I hope you have the discipline to do so because thats what it really takes not some miracle program.
All the best,Alex

This is a very good post. One other thing I have noticed is that most people don't have their own product or service. They just stick to being affiliates and making someone else rich. I don't have anything against affiliate programs, but I don't think that they should be the only thing that you do to earn money.
