One of the radio stations decided that they would play an April Fools joke on their listeners. They got a fair few people involved and then broke the "news" that retired footballer Mark Riccuto (sp?) was going to make a comeback. They spoke to quite important people on the matter and then just as their show was finishing at 9am they spoke to the footballer and revealed that it was an April Fools joke. There were so many people around Adelaide that were fooled by it (even the sales team at the radio station, one of the hosts mother, the sports reporter on the news that night...hilarious stuff). They apologised this morning to everyone but agreed it was an awesome prank to pull.
I personally don't play April Fools jokes, I'm not a very good person at doing those kind of things. I tend to stuff them up or give something away. And as far as I'm aware no pranks were pulled on me.
