Olympic torch is the name for an important symbol of the Olympic Games. The modern torch relay was introduced by Carl Diem ,president of the Organization Committee for the 1936 summer Olympics in Berlin, as part of an effert to turn the games into a glorification of the Third Reich. Today ,the 2008 Olympic torch was ignited by chinese president Hu Jin Tao .The whole country was dilighted by it ,and all the chinese people are looking forward to the 2008 Olympic Games.
