One of the most intimidating to do in the business world is to ask for a raise at your current job. If you are stuck in the grind of your current job, then you know excatly what I am talking about. Sometimes, the boss just does not pay you enough money. So you are worth more? What do you do about it? Thers is a way to request a raise, but you better be careful when doing that.
I do not know how to ask for a raise at my current job, as I do not want to establish a bad relationship with my boss although I always think that I should get more from my current job. What about you? Have you ever asked for a raise at your job? And what about the results? If you get more salary finally, how do you achieve on this?

i'm due for a raise, typically everyone in my company gets one every year, but for some reason this year i was skipped. i hate it! i know i'm paid well for my current job, but i could be paid more based on the industry standard. i think its crap, but i always prepare for a raise or review, i gather info on local office manager salaries and take a list of all my accomplishments as well as areas i need to work on. i prepare for a lil bashing, cause they are going to point out the negatives and i keep my fingers crossed for the raise i want.
