I am a worrier Bal, I have been always will be I have to admit, I know that worrying does no good. A wise person once sat me down and got me to worry constantly about things for a five minutes, I had to sit there and worry away, at the end of the five minutes he said right Brian, what has changed? I was confused, nothing, he said exactly, by you sitting down worrying you have changed absolutely nothing, so does worrying solve anything? I just wish I could put that into practice! But you are right forget worrying, just be happy! Life is too short to waste it worrying which solves nothing!

Bala,
I sincerely feel that there is no solution for happiness is not a destination it's a journey. We have to feel it, enjoy it and live it and there's no better time than now. All through our lives we are busy preparing to live, worrying too much about figuring out ways to be happy. What we fail to understand is that these hurdles are but life and living it as it comes makes us happy.
Thanks.

worrying too much will only make the situation worse and decrease the happiness..the ultimate solution to be happy is to forget the worries slowly and keep our mind intact and feel happiness.offcourse its not possible to just swipe away the worries and get happiness immediately..i believe its the time needed to get away from worries and give us relief from our problems..everything lies in our hands to be happy..

certainly not.Why should you worry to be happy/
I feel they are both contradictory.
Happiness is within the mind and barring situations regarding the health of family members or lack of resources for essentials , you can keep yourself happy by the simplest things in life. Say for e.g. a song that you fancy, a book you like, a film that is your favourite, a word of praise from your loved ones, a fulfilment in work done by self, a look at a bird or a beautiful flower , a good meal that you have prepared, a window shopping, an energetic walk and what not? --these will be found in your regular routine provided one is willing to accept these.

I really don't know the answer to this but I sure wish I knew it. I constantly worry about everything in my life. I never have time to be happy. I am always working toward fulfilling my hopes and dreams but my life is slipping away before my eyes.

Hi there balasri! I think that worrying is not good for you. Regardless of what you're worrying about. It might lead to stress and that's not good for your health.

Worrying about anything in my opinion is not a solution toward being happy.
New ways of being happy will come about on their own as a person experiences something that gives him/her a happy feeling.

No my dear friend balasri, any sort of worry is not a solution for happiness. to become happy one must stop worrying and thinking negative . Only positive thoughts and approach will be the solution of happiness.
