i prefer independent rather than apartment

I've lived in a house most of my life, but I lived in a trailer park for six months once, I don't know how they compare to apartments, but I'd take a house over anything else any day; I like the privacy, and I won't have to see ppl trying to see what I'm up to every waking hour of the day.

After living in apartments my entire life I'm very glad to be living in my own house now. Yes, it's more expensive and has many more responsibilities. But, I don't have to deal with neighbors stealing my parking space or making a ton of noise in the hallway.

An apartment, but to own, not to rent.

Right now we are in an apartment in a house, but we can't wait to buy our own house. Prices are just so crazy in NYC.

I've lived in both and think there are pros and cons to either. A house makes more sense for me now that I have young children. It's nice for them to be able to go outside to play easily. A house is a lot of work to keep up, and before I had children, I didn't need that much space. I will probably move back to one, after they are grown.
