Anyone have any pointers or tips on the best way to find buyers. Also is your experience positive or negative selling there?

We tried selling on ebay. We got discouraged pretty fast. I kept telling s/o it was because our items were too specific and there wasn't a big market for those things. I think if we get into it again we'll offer a wider variety of things all at once in various categories to try to get more traffic. I don't know if it will work but we'll try it!

- dont get too specific on what you are listing (in the category)
- make sure all your expectations are clearly listed: your shipping policy, your return policy,
- start your prices out low to save money on the fees.
- be reasonable on your shipping costs, dont gouge the customer.
- Prompt customer service is a MUST! answer all questions and emails in a reasonable amount of time.
be prepared for ebay to take a nice lil chunk, followed by paypal taking their chunk... at the end of the auction analyze your true TRUE cost after selling and all the fees.. it may not be worth it..
also join RME to get free money transfers between members. link on my profile... i've started collecting ebay sales in RME and its saved me a ton of fees from paypal!
