is a theological concept which is not only hard to understand, but also is irrelevant in our day to day lives. So two things: difficult to grasp, and thus, nearly unbelievable, and then, irrelevant in our day to day lives. Please give reasons for your answers. The more you qualify your answers, the more I can get a feel of the general reception of the doctrine. Thanks.

The doctrine is hard to understand, granted. But it is not irrelevant. In fact, the doctrine of Trinity is very very much relevant to our lives. I would say that if you think the doctrine has no relevance then you have not really understood even some bit of it.

@ Moon, where does the Bible say that Jesus was not crucified? Your Quran says that but not the Bible. The Bible says that Jesus was crucified, but now risen. And since I believe that the Bible was written by those eye witnesses I choose to believe those eye witnesses. Your prophet Mohammad came later and I find it difficult to believe how someone who came much later can say that he knows better than those eye witnesses. I would, therefore, say with due respect to Mohammad that he was mistaken and those writers like John, Matthew, Peter and others were the one telling the truth.
