Do your husbands do this?

I love my husband but his timing is usually off. He will wait good until I get on the computer to decide that he wants me to run errands or that he "just wants to spend time with me." It really gets on my nerves. He never does that when I'm not doing anything. Is that some sort of man thing that I just have to get used to?

So glad I am not the only one! LOL! My hubby will sit down to watch something on television that I have absolutely no interest in, so I assume it is safe to have some computer time, but no, he starts whining "Don't you want to spend any time with me?" GRRR!

I think its just a guy thing, girls tend to be just a little better with timing while guys ( or atleast the guys I know) tend to just " wing it"

My husband used to do that too, but he doesn't anymore. He learned that it really bothered me and that I didn't want to feel pressured. He'll come and stand in the doorway of the office and give me a look that usually means "please spend time with me". So, I try to wrap up and spend time with him since I am on the computer, or at presentations most of the day. Or he'll do that to let me know that he is going to bed. I can get pretty caught up on here and forget to go to sleep. So, I try to go to bed at the same time a couple nights a week. I am so bad, I am such a night owl. Good thing he loves me. So, just let him know how you feel and come to a compromise.

just like rock said i am a husband who knows a good timing. i am aware and sensitive on whats happening with my wife. i am no perfect but i know when to ask something. if i can no longer wait i ask my wife if it is okay to ask a favor to her and if she said no then i just have to wait.

The spending time with one another doesnt bother me, but id tell him to go and do his own errands if he is there to ask me he must have the time to do it!!!

My husband doesn't do that. Perhaps your husband just doesn't notice or think about that. You might gently mention it to him that your busy the next time it happens, but will be available soon or whenever.
If that's the biggest complaint of your husband though, you have a good guy :)

Ahh, well, don't hate me but my husband has a really good sense of timing, and he never bothers me when I'm doing something. But there are men, like your husband who have bad timing. I don't know why he'd do this to you but maybe he's either being annoying or just truly has no sense of time.
