Blackberries and raspberries!!!!! Pies and jam and stained fingers. Picking with my grandkids(getting them unstuck from the briers!) Oh, you got me wishing for those delectable berries.

My daughter, now 27 with 4 children of her own, was 3 the first time we went picking. We got 4-5gal. buckets almost full. It was a wonderful spot in northern Wisconsin. We decided to make jelly. I wased the berries, then gave her a bath, put on her swimsuit and had her walk the juice out. lol!! lol!!! It took almost 7 months for her to return to normal color! That was definately a once in a lifetime wxperience. I took her to the Dr. after about a week, she was my first, I didn't know why she was still SO purple. He said it was because of her young skin. I took and held the dye better. We took him a jar of jelly! Later, Wendy

one of my indulgences is bagged frozen fruit. It is so easy, since it is cleaned and stemmed, so I will frequently buy strawberries that way. Also will buy mixed berries.

They are pretty good, not quite as sweet as tangerines or manderines. I think it is a new hybrid.

I look forward to many different types of fruits. Apricots, peaches, strawberries, blackberries, and pomegranates are just a few that I look forward to. I especially love to make smoothies with fresh strawberries, bananas, and pineapple. Oh, I need to get these fruits so I can make some for my family again. Not only are the good for you but they are delicious too!

Peaches, I love them when they are in season, properly in season though, sometimes when you buy them they taste forced if you know what I mean. I love melon, but not so much watermelon, I prefer honeydew melon, that is so sweet and juicy. The only trouble with it is that I end up eating the whole thing and then end up on the loo for hours after!!

As for me, apple and banana are my favourite fruits, since they are the common fruits in my country and the price for both of them are resonable. What's more, they taste good and enable us to stay healthy, that's the point. So,I love them, hoho.

None of those fruits are big here in the US. My mom loves Mangos so I will eat those sometimes and canned pineapple but its just not the same.

I love strawberries also! I like to take fresh strawberries and dip them in plain sugar! I also like grapes, red and purple; they're the sweetest I think! The one fruit that I think is an odd fruit, but don't completely hate, is pomegrante. It's not that sweet, and it's full of seeds with little juicy pockets around the seeds, and the rest is the flesh! I think I can't hate it because it makes a really good fragrence in lotions, baths, and body sprays! LOL!

There are several different kinds of cherries. Bing are the ones that when they are ripe they are so red they are nearly black and they are very sweet. Most cherries are rather tart and need sugar added. Acerola cherries are yellow! And they are very high in vitamin C.
