So you are laying in bed.. can't sleep because your mind won't shut off. Then you think of a brilliant discussion to start here in the land of mylot. However, you are too lazy to get up to start it, or you know that once you start.. you'll NEVER sleep. You figure its a such a brilliant discussion you think "I'll remember it tomorrow" so off to sleep you (finally) drift. You wake up the next morning, before peeing and before coffee, one eye open to post that masterpiece your mind has created... only to find that you have FORGOTTEN it? SIGH .. It happened to me last night. I STILL can't remember it.. I guess that's what happens when you turn another year closer to 40.

I think it means responsd or responses! I also keep trying to spell it with a c! But my spellchecker catches me and let's me know that something is spelled wrong! I check where a person if from to find out what a word might mean! It helps to know something about the other language in order to figure out what is the mistake! In this case, the person used co instead of s and added an extra n! Sp may not be a consonant blend that is used in Chinese.

It happens to me all the time. And you're right I'm to lazy to get back up. And come the next day I have forgotten the discussion. I do good to remember my name. I'm over 40.

Yes, it happens to me! But please do not blame turning forty! I do not think menopause causes it either! You just got distracted, that's all! It happens to everyone! Try righting it down right away, even on a small slip of paper, in shorthand if you can, and that will make it easier! Even remembering a keyword for each sentence can work well when trying to remember our previous thoughts! We have so many thoughts in one day, it can really be use it or lose it with your thoughts! No matter what time it is, have a pencil and paper near by and you will do better with your writings.

I hope it works for you! I have written poems and stories, even thought of speeches, and if I am laying down I learned how to remember so I do not lose the thought! We do have quite a lot of thoughts in one day so the least important ones get squeezed out! I have been interested in writing since I was a child, so I have learned a few tricks in my day!

It is much like dream recall, if I don't write it down, I lose it. Writing down keywords does help there. Man you are TOUGH.. I can't blame my laziness on my age.. OR menopause (which will be my next blame game when I DO hit it....lol) I have to svck it up and face the fact that I am just forgetful huh?? What a concept.. oh well I will do as you suggested though Thanks
