Anyone have problems with their pants being too long?

i'm only 5'2 and i consider myself short like you. i usually take a long time in buying pants because most pants in the department stores are longer than my legs! .

You are totally wrong if you think people who are tall don't have that problem. I am tall and I have a hard time finding pants that are long enough. They look more like capris than anything. You can find great pants out there that fit you perfectly on the waist/hips but when it comes to the leg you have a hard time finding pants long enough or short enough. So it's not just one sided that short people have a hard time cause tall people do too. I think taller people have it worse as we don't have anything or the same type of material/color to match up as you short people all you have to do is do a few cuts and hem them up.

Yes, I have this problem, too. I'm 5'3" and I can never seem to find pants that fit and look good in me. I usually buy pants I like, and tailor them myself so they don't drag on the floor. xD

I'm 5'8", so if anything once in a while they're too short. My husband has trouble finding pants that are OK though. He needs a 29" length and a lot of places don't sell less than 30". Even with the 29's sometimes he has to have them shortened.

yeah most of my pants drag well im pettit to begin with sometimes i have to go to the kiddy store and get my clothing suck right?

Actually I have problems finding and buying pants that are long enough for me because the usual length here is too short for me. Or I couldn't find that perfect cut of jeans for me. What you do is send them to tailoring and have them cut to your length. It's just cheap anyway.

I am only five feet tall and have a terrible time finding trousers and jeans that fit my short stumpy little legs. Fortunately I am handy with a needle so I can take the length up a little but it's a real pain when it comes to buying trousers that fit me.

yup sometimes i tend to have this problem too- the pants that i like is way too long. usually i will get the length altered at the tailor. but that depends, if i know that i'm wearing the pants with a pair of high heels that suits the length of the pants, then i dont need to cut off the length ;)

I'm the exact same height as you :-) I also have the same problem, i am sick of pants being too long, i am a size 8 (Australian), they fit fine around the waist but they are inches too long!! And i can't be bothered getting them altered. I even have to buy my shoes in the kids section, i'm a size 5 (Australian)and most ladies shoes start in a 6. It's about time things changed. I like being short though, it's part of who i am, i am unique :-)

I am almost 5'3 and my pants are almost always too long as well. I wear a size 0-2 and I guess they expect that if you wear a small size you must be really tall too! I just cut and hemmed two pairs of my pants last week. I got tired of stepping on them all the time. They fit so much better and look better now.

yes i have pants that are too long.they go under my shoes while walking and keep dragging on the public road.the pants tear while walking like that.

of course i had encountered with this problem, what's more, it is shamefaced for when i worn these kind pants and some guys laugh at me with words like "oh,my god,how a short leg could be in the world!". i hate it!

Yes, I have this problem. All of my pants are long on me to the point that they get rolled up just a bit and they still drag. Just about every pair of pants I have are worn in the back because of them being to long.
