I usually only drink coffee in the morning, but I do have about 3 or 4 cups. Every once in awhile I have a cup in the evening. As a matter of fact, I just got home from work and from grocery shopping and a cup sounds real good right about now, so thanks for the suggestion.

I drink about four cups of black or green tea per day, plus usually two cups of coffee or a few caffeine pills. The anti-oxidants in tea and coffee help destroy free radicals in our systems, therefore basically de-toxifying our bodies and helping prevent cancer. Besides that, I've read that green tea is loaded with vitamin C and also helps increase metabolism. Caffeine itself also helps to relieve headaches, for me at least (it's also present in many OTC painkillers).
As for the bad effects though, too much caffeine increases blood pressure, causes irritability, and leads to caffeine dependence/addiction. For someone like me with low blood pressure and a laid back attitude, though, that's not much of a concern.

I love my iced tea! I drink it pretty much non-stop throughout the day. I do drink milk regularly, too, but I love love love my iced tea!
