dentist steals money

I was watching the local news and heard that a dentist from MY town was actually charging medicaid and medicare for work that he was not even doing to his patients. He took over 2 million dollars! I guess he was even doing work to peoples teeth that did not even need to be done and wasnt even doing work to some peoples teeth, but still charged medicare and medicaid. I remember they said he chaged for doing 28 fillings in a childs mouth and the child didnt even have that many teeth at the time. A lot of the money was given back to the insurance company, but they still have not recovered all of the money. He had over 40 bank accounts with different amounts of money in them. I guess he is only getting 5 years in jail then has to pay back the rest of the money.
What do you think should happen to this guy?

Wow! Over two million dollars?? That's a lot of money! Well, this is not really the first time I hear of someone doing something like this. I wonder what laws have you in your country regarding this kind of incidents. I hope concerned agencies would really do something about this. It's a shame that professionals like that dentist end up doing something like this. I hope the victims will be given the justice they deserve.

He should spend some time in the slammer.It's this sort of blatant thievery that drives up the health insurance costs for the average family. You have to wonder how he could be so stupid, especially with the whole filling thing. Did he really think no-one would ever notice?
