Everybody loves!

Has there ever been a movie, (or movies) that everyone seems to love that you just can't stand. I don't get the big deal over the Pirate of the Caribean movies. I saw the first and absolutely hated it but everyone I know loves it. I have met one person that doesn't like the Pirate movies. Its really strange hating a series of movies that everyone else seems to love. So has there been a movie out there that others seemed to love but you didn't. Now thinking about it I remember when Independence Day came out, I couldn't stand that movie either.

Star Wars I never did care for the series I liked the last movie and that was it. My hubby is a huge fan and hates that I dont care for it.

For me, I don't get the whole frenzy over the Pirates of the Carribean movies. They do absolutely nothing for me. The first one was actually pretty good, but I certainly wouldn't call it great. The other two Pirates movies were plain boring to me. I'm also not particularly enamored with the Harry Potter series. Again, they're okay, but I have/had no desire to go out of my way to see them. I actually find them quite forgettable.
