how to get rid out of yahoo messenger virus attack?

i was working on my pc , suddenly i opened the yahoo messenger , their i found that one of my friend has sended me the link , i clicked on it and then my system got hanged after restarting it , my pc is full of virus , they are not removable and the same link is also spreading to all of my messenger pals. help me how can i get rid out of this.

i would advise you to reformat your hard drive...install everything back to normal get a good antivirus program...for me i would recommend you use AVG antivirus its free and updated daily... ^_^

well i was looking for any other option other then this , as finally i am going to format it , but i am having some application and programmes installed in it of which i dont have executable exe .hope you understand

I also has the Yahoo! Messenger Virus long ago. What I did was scanned my computer for viruses and spywares and I managed to get them off my system. Then I repaired my registry since the said Yahoo! Messenger Virus was attacking the pc's registry files.
