Golf is by far the hardest game to learn mentally, physically, and emotionally.
For example: In golf you use analytical thinking processes all the while trying to have the club head square at impact, and still keeping your nerves under control to avoid getting the yips on the putting surface.
There is no sport that demands so much from its player.

If golf is so easy then what is your average round for eighteen holes? How about your putts per round? Driving distance?

I think golf is hard in the fact that you only get one chance really, and it seems some luck changes your outcome quite a lot. Your postures so important and you have to learn to control your swing and always be consistent. Golf is psychologically more demanding than most other sport because one mistake can make your game 10 times harder. Also since it's really a challenge against yourself, it makes it even tougher sport to play. You have to try and get the lowest possible score and it's not easy. Also if you are not strong psychologically and really 'lose' it becuase you are playing a bad game, that's really bad.
