snoring is annoying

My roommate snores when he sleeps, its highly annoying because the sound its too loud until i can't sleep. Do you guys what makes someone snoring in sleeping and how to cure this habit? thanks

Snoring is very disruptive to general comfort of sleep-I am not sure I snore aloud, but I guess i do, and every night as I go to sleep, I pray that I dont simply spoil the night for my wife with a croaking snore
