who is yuour favorite american idol judge?

This is a tough one. I like them all, but Simon is the one who puts everything out there, and just states yes or no. Though I love Paula and Randy, if it weren't for Simon, it would take them forever to pick a finalist because they like them all.

I don't have a favorite. I like all of them. Randy is to me the more objective one and tries to give credit where credit is due. Paula is pretty mild and very forgiving, so isn't usually critical. I guess since she is also a singer, she judges the contestant from a singer's perspective. Simon is very critical, too critical for my liking at times when he applies extreme words like "appalling", "ghastly", "horrible", etc. and use all kinds of imaginative metaphors to describe people's performance. He has very cutting opinions but I guess he has his own reasons for doing so. He probably doesn't want them to be complacent, so he is very harsh on them, but sometimes I feel he is out of line when his opinion is totally opposite to the other two judges' opinions. When you put all the 3 judges' opinions together in the panel, it makes the show interesting especially when you see the reactions from fellow judges, the contestants and audiences.

I would have to agree that simon cowell is mine as well, he is rude sometimes but he calls it as he sees it.

I would agree Simon Cowell hes the only one who will tell it as it is.

I like Paula Abdul the best. Simon is pretty good . He says it like it is.

I pick Simon Cowell too. He seems to be the most sensible of the lot! His comments are usually spot on.

I think I would say Randy. The reason is because I feel that he is not so sarcastic like Simon. It is good that Simon is truthful, but I believe that Simon just like to be a pain. So this is really why I think that Randy is probably the most fair and easy going judge I have seen. See you have to realize those people be under pressure, and it is probably a hard blow taking something from Simon.

my fave is simon cowell too...i love his english accent, sounds sexy

It's hard not to like Simon, we can't wait to hear what he is going to say every week. I think I like Randy though because he is honest, and usually correct without being cruel. I think the three of them are a good balance. Paula is the good, Simon is the bad, and Randy is the balance.

I like Simon. Although I think he could tone it down in the criticism department and choose other words sometimes. Usually his opinion is right on and if you notice for the most part, the one he disses the most is usually the one that gets the boot. He generally knows what he is talking about.
