Mid-autumn Day is an important festival in China. You know Chinese lunar calendar is made according to the changes of the moon in a year. On August 15th,the moon is shown fullest and circular. It is also in the period of harvest,so people choose this day to celebrate the harvest and enjoy being together with family numbers.
Now we have one day off duty to celebrate this day. Sitting with family numbers around a talbe with mooncake, grape, tea on,enjoying the moon hanging on the sky. it is a wonderful moment. Why we choose mooncake and grape? because they are circular, stand for being united.
Do you know how to make a mooncake? Easy, basic ingredients: flour, sugar, sesame and water, stir them together, and make them like a moon with hands, this is an important step, fianlly put them into a microwave oven. Few minutes later, get it out of the microwave oven. It smells good. If we like kinds of different flavor of mooncake, you can add more ingredients like peanut, chocolate, icecream, nut or eggs. Oh,my mouth is watering. I like chocolate flavor
