has any one out there ever received a cheque from my lot who lives in england and how often and how does it work

No mylot pays to your paypal or money booker account-am not aware mylot can pay by cheque, so open a paypal or moneybookers account if you will need to receive payment!

I think you are making a mistake. MyLot pay via paypal and not by cheque. Probably you didn't read the guidelines or maybe you are thinking about another site. So just check you paypal account when you reached the minimum of ten dollars and you will receive the money.
