i just finished reading this book (it's an old novel) i found it really interesting its about of course a guy and a girl who fall in love with each other the guy is a young widower, his wife got run over by a car, never found out who the perpetrator was they were high school sweethearts, got married after college, he became deputy sheriff, they had a son, pretty much picture perfect then she dies the girl is a divorcee, she's a teacher, got married to a wealthy guy, she couldn't get pregnant, he divorced her, no alimony, they had a pre-nup guy and girl meet, fall in love thanksgiving season, girl finds out it's her brother that hit the guy's wife brother's the silent type, quite responsible, just got really really scared when he realized he killed someone girl has a dilemma but eventually tell the deputy sheriff guy that her brother ran his wife over they still end up together pretty twisted huh
