Yes it can if you have a friend that allows something this petty to come between a friendship. It is very sad that money can change ones perspective or feelings for one another. It really does not have to affect the friendship if the other person does not allow it. I myself will never let this come between a friendship of mines. If it does then I may need to reevaluate this.

It will a lot. If for example you trusted your friend a lot and let him owe some amount since he needed it. As time goes by, he pretends to forget it and if you will ask him since you need it He will just like a deaf and giving more excuses..It starts to ruin the friendship. ONce the trust is destroyed every relationship will never work out!

this kind of probs between friendship is very common and the reasoned for their conflict is MONEY. Money is root of all evil.
So,better warned ur friends that if they borrowed from u there should be a quota and a date when they will plan to pay. if they didnt pay on the given date so better approached them in nicely manner and if still they didnt pay u. then next time dont let them borrowed again. or tell them u dont have cash or make some pretty good alibisthat is also friendly.
hehehe...
Friendship is important than money..

What kind of money matters? As for me, money doesn't affect friendship.
