Ive been suffering regularly for about 18mths now and they are crippling. After a few different prescribed medicines from my doctor (which didnt work), I found Over the Counter Excedrin Migraine (The green and white round capsules) to work.
Take 2 the minute you feel it coming on. I also cut cheese and chocolate out of my diet for Lent as a test to see what would happen, as the doctor reckoned cheese was doing it to me (I love cheese). I noticed since that the headaches have reduced significantly.
Interestingly, the doctor mentioned that I must be a "Neat/ Tidy" person, as that seems to be a trait of Migraine Sufferers! Intersting!

I am not a Neat and tidy person, and I get them, so this theory is not true.

I suffer from Migraine headaches from time to time. What I have found that helps with them to where they do not get as Bad as they used too, is a product called Xango. It is a product that can only be purchased thru a Xango distributor, or thru Ebay. It is expensive in a way, but for me, it has done wonders. I have only had one Bad Migraine in the last 2 months, and I used to get at least 2-3 a month before starting to take this. Just something to consider.

When I was 16 the doctor diagnosed me with cluster migraines. The medicine he gave me seemed to work. Unfortunately once I turned 18 I couldn't afford the medicine. So I've been trying stuff off and on since then (over the counter). Unfortunately the job I had in the military I wasn't allowed to self medicate (I controlled aircraft). I'm out now so I'm very tempted to go to the doc now and see what they say. (I'm a dependent spouse of a military man now.) I haven't had a chance yet to go but I will soon. I feel one coming on now and it feels like a real doozy.
