Do you believe you can be completely in love with 2 different people?

If it is possible to love your children equally, no matter how many you have, then why do people insist on saying you can't be love in with 2 men or 2 women at the same time? They insist that one is most likely an object of lust. I have to disagree. I have been very much in love with my husband for 6 years, but I have also been in love with my best friend & ex-boyfriend for 10 years. My husband knows this and also feels the same way about someone in his past. I'd like to know what other people think.

What if you could say you loved them both at the same level? That you would do or sacrific anything for either one.

I agree with you,I think I have the same feeling that one could be in love with over one person at the same time~Now I have a new boyfriend,I love him deeply, but I can't forget the other boy whom I loved for three years. This is true,I think maybe the two feelings are not the same, but they are both love~
