Do you ever join websites that don't really interest you?

I often have opportunities to join websites and am offered monetary rewards for doing so. For example dating sites or those that give you information about rheumatoid arthritis to name a few. I'm not particularly interested in joining as they either don't apply to me, but on occassion have joined to earn the reward. Do you ever join websites that don't really interest you, just for the reward?

I have joined some that just want to sell your email address to get money. I figure they pay me and then they get paid. I use a gmail address that I keep for just those purposes. I never see the site again.
I have joine the rheumatoid arthritis and a couple others because I do have medical problems and I learn from the site. If I get paid for it, too, so much the better. I did find out from the information that I have oseoarthritis and not RA.
I haven't joined any dating sites because it seems too much bother.

Thats really great that you learned something from that site. I joined it only for the money. Thank goodness this isn't a condition that effects me, at least not yet.

He he! Glad I am not the only one who does this, I have a site that sends me emails to sign up to sites and if I do I get points or monetary awards, so that's exactly what I do, I sign up and confirm that I have signed up and that's it, I get my reward and the site never sees me again! Providing I get my money I don't care. I have done this with dating sites too! I never plan to meet anyone but in building a profile up I get paid well so that's what I do, it's a great way of earning extra cash and I'm sure we are NOT the only ones who do it my friend!

no I don't usually join anything I have no use for, I just do not have the time for it and it is just taken up space on my computer with stuff I don;t want anyhow

nope, i only join here in mylot dont have any time for those site, specially in my time right know. lot of work busy all the long reach home like a paper just need toe on top on bed:)

I joined so many websites and I am busy now. I am only on Mylot and Yuwie once a while.
If I am nervous, I can play pogo.
Other than this, I don't visit sites that I joined long time ago....I don't even remember my logins.
