Should a guy and a girl be room-mates?

One of my friends called me one day and said her boyfriend is really upset that she is sharing an apartment with another guy as if there were no girls left in the city. Well, they do live in different cities. Do you think a girl and a guy should be room-mates? what if they are committed? Would you like if your boyfriend has a girl as a room-mate or if you girlfriend has a guy as a room-mate?

I think that her boyfriend needs to learn to trust her. I don't see a problem with boys and girls living together, it doesn't mean that they are going to be at it like rabbits. I wouldn't be bothered if my boyfriend shared a house with another girl, but I wouldn't want them sharing a bedroom. He is better friends with girls than boys, so I would accept it as being the most logical thing.

I aggree. It's ok as long as the're not sharing a bedroom. I think it's kinda sad that her boyfriend can't trust her =/
