and I am eating them with a glass of milk. Do you ever hide your snacks? Do you like milk and cookies?, Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies?

Girl Scout Cookies - We'll buy a box or two but they've gotten to be so expensive!
We used to buy a bunch of boxes of the girl scout cookies but not anymore because they've gotten so expensive and come to find out, they're so full of fat which isn't good for us at all. Hopefully with all the hype about the fat, they'll change their ingrediants but now we know why they taste so good!! lol

I know they are expensive, but they help my grand daughter go to camp. I did not read the label. I am good most of the time.

Ooooooo....is it Girl Scout cookie time already!? I'll have to keep my eye out! Yum!! Yes, I hide my snacks all the time, otherwise it's open season on them hehehe. I'll share, but for the most part I'll keep them in this drawer in my computer desk. I don't have milk with them, usually just tea.

Tea sounds nice tonight. I think, unless cookie season is different in different parts of the country, that you have missed it.

I'll be right over to help you eat them...lol I love Girl Scout Cookies, especially the thin mints.. I like to freeze them and eat them that way. I haven't seen any for sale yet...maybe I just didn't pay attention.. or it could be that I go to the stores too late in the evening and they have gone home. I will have to keep my eyes on the store fronts... We never have anyone come to the door selling them anymore. I don't know any girl scouts so I have to seek them out. Enjoy....eat one for me..Brightest Blessings, Mari

They go on sale in February, Mari. I guess you could look for the area council and see if they can find someone to sell them to you. Next year I will just post a discussion suggesting everyone find a local Girl Scout to buy from.

Those are my favorite girl scout cookies I could eat the whole box in one sitting I would have to hide the box so no one else would get any they would have to be all mine! I didn't have any girl scouts stop this year but my mom and aunt bought some Tagalongs for my kids those are good too.

Shhhh, I promise I won't tell but you have to share. I didn't get any girl scout cookies this year, I didn't have the extra money. As for your question, of course I have hid my snacks, doesn't everyone. I put small goodies in a special drawer in my closet, my grandson knows about it, I let him sneak in there and get some. Shhh we keep that a secret between us.

My mother used to have to hide the cookies and Wagon Wheels from me and my brother all the time. But we almost always found them. She usually forgot where she hid them. Just last week I hid a frozen Apple Blossom. I bought six of them at M&M's and I never got one so I hid the last one. I went to get it tonight and found that my husband had eaten it. I tell you I actually punched him a few times. I ordered him to go out and buy some more. Of course the store was closed by that time. I love the Girl Scout Cookies, especially the mint ones. But we don't seem to have many Girl Scouts in my neighbourhood anymore as I never see anyone selling them.

What is a frozen apple blossom?

The older I get, the more overrated I find restaurants. I do not know what a Wagon Wheel is either. Poor me, I will bet it is good. I am sure that my hubby would find an apple blossom to be divine.

An apple blossom is one serving of apple crisp wrapped up in a pie crust pastry. A lot of restaurants here are serving them now but at a much higher cost than buying them frozen from M&M's stores.

Here the girl scout cookies are ordered in Dec. and delivered 1st week of Jan. I bought 8 boxes from my daughter who is a girl scout last Dec. and they didn't make it a week in my household. We all love the cookies so much. The Lemonades and peanut butter sandwich are my favorites as well as the Thank You cookies. My hubby favors the thin mints as well. Cookies don't last long in this house so I tend not to buy them. I rarely buy junk food since I'm trying to get my family to eat healthier.

The justification for these is of course that they benefit the troop and the girl selling them. Otherwise, it is fruit and veggies. There are still lots of unhealthy things I eat.

My major weakness that is also my junk food habit is chocolate. I just can't resist 'em. lol Only time I really eat it thou is outside the house. If I had it inside, it would never last a day.

Yup.....bought two boxes from a friends daughter and three from my granddaughter...which by the way are still in the freezer....my son usually comes over...hunts around and finds them so I don't have to worry about eating all of them myself.....I was so worried! LOL...right! I could sit and eat a box of the peanut butter ones...man are they good! I bought the lemon ones and two boxes of the coconut ones....they have different names now...but they still are yummy!

I did not order any this year. I did buy one box of the peanut butter sandwich ones from the girls selling them outside Wal-Mart a few weeks ago for my daughter. I love the Thin Mints and the Caramel Delights, but I was a good girl and did not buy them. I do have a bag of Frosted Animal Cookies hidden, but my son found them yesterday and ate half the bag.

Do I hide snacks?? Good question. It is best if I dont buy snacks at all, otherwise I am not good at controlling myself. I dont exactly hide snacks, but I put them towards the back of the fridge. I have a tendancy to pinch my daughters or hubbys snacks, but I always tell them if I do this. I love Girl Guide Cookies. Fortunately I dont see them around often.

They come out just once a year, and I overdid it the other day, so I had to start the discussion and keep my hands busy. I am giving the rest to hubby.

That's very interesting to hear that. We don't have Girl Scout Cookies here. But I don't have to hide my snacks as nobody will be interested in it. Sometimes my son will be interested in potato chips and that's OK.

When I buy potato chips, I eat too many of them too. I like tortilla chips with salsa, and they seem to be okay.

You made me smile! I've got a box of thin mints in the freezer and now I'm craving them. Some snacks I hide, some I leave out - my hubby doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, but on occasion he has been know to finish off something that I've bought for me. I miss the days when I could buy girl scout cookies from neighbors & co-workers, now I have to buy them at those little tables they set up outside of grocery stores and so I only buy one box each year (when it was my friends kiddos, I had to buy several to support them - right? - LOL).

I buy from my granddaughter. I bought three. I also babysat my grandson so my daughter in law could set up one of those tables with the extra cookies.

Hi. GardenGerty. Yes, at times I will. My kids can't stand for me to eat anything in front of them. I have to guard my snacks! Yes, I do love milk and cookies. I love them especially when they are soft and chewy. I have not bought Girl Scout cookies in many years. I love them though. It is a kind that I love, but I just can't remember the name for them though.
