I don't think the books will be completely replaced by e-books. Although e-books have become much more popular than before. But if you read it for a long time in front of computer, your eyes will be so tiring. Besides, it's harmful for your eyesight. And books are still convenient for you to bring when you go out, such as a travel.

I am actually taking a college class right now where I am using an e-book. I don't really like e-books I like the feeling of actually having the book in my hand and when I am using it for college it makes it harder to go back to a page I marked something in.

You know, I was going to say "no" because people don't really like reading books on a computer. But, now they have those e-book readers and I can see more and more people reading e-books instead of regular books. But, for me, I still like to have an actual book in my hand, especially if there are visual instructions or diagrams.

I don't think so, because of historical tradition reasons. I mean, e-books might be more practical and all but it's not like the real thing, never the same. I'm a traditionalist and can't stand the fact technologies take over certain things. This is one of them.

Personally, I don't think ebooks will every fully replace paper books. Somehow, reading for pleasure is much better done with a paper books. You can't curl up in bed in the same way with an ebook! The exception of course is reference volumes, which are perfectly suited to ebook format.

I don't think books will ever be totally replaced by e-books. I know for me and lots of other people, it bothers my eyes to try and sit and read a large amount on the computer screen. I think for that reason alone paper books will be around for a very very long time.
