Hello LilyoftheThorns!:-)
Wow, lily, you are rated very, very high in Writing Interest. It means that you are top 11th highly rated user in this category/Interest. It's good and even better would be if you are at the top i.e Number 1 out of 3,789!:-)

Thank you very much Kamran! That explains it a lot =P Woot! I feel special in the writing interest! lol. I'll be sure to watch those rankings now to see how I'm doing in the other categories!
Do you know how the rank/level are determined? Is it just by activity, other users rating you, mylot rating you...anything special I can do to get hire ranks??
Thanks!

You are welcome, LilyoftheThorns! Only way to increase your interest ranking is to post quality content. And, quality content on mylot is defined as whatever gets positive ratings. So, only positive ratings can get your ranks higher.
I must mention here that starting a discussion and then being rated positively is the easiest way to get higher rank in the interest, that discussion is started, especially when you respond to each and every comment made because it provides people a chance to give you more positive ratings within that interest. While if you respond, there is only one positive rating to get from there provided you are not commenting back. So, in short, your own started discussions are the best bet for improving your interest rankings. It is also important that you, too, rate each and every comment, although I am not quite sure about it.
When responding, try to respond to those who have a habit of rating. The users who don't rate their discussions are not helpful in improving rankings, they actually indirectly harm the ranking as they decrease the percentage of positive ratings you have got in that interest area.
Order of rating a discussion is also important but that's a bit complicated so I'll leave it for now. I hope I am understandable?
PS: Wow, you already have very good rankings in 'watching movies', 'writing', 'sleeping', 'animals', 'pets', 'beauty', 'yuwie', 'make extra money', and many others. You are already very well rated mylot fellow, Great, keep it up!

Lol! I am rated good in all those ones too? =P I haven't even realized! =P Thanks!!
Is there a way to tell which users rate discussions and responses? Is there a way to see that? If there is I've never known! lol. But i always try to respond to people who respond to my dicussions. I like starting up conversations with people over my discussions! lol. Sometimes our convo will even split off from what the discussion is actually about =P lol!
I will defeniatly start rating responses and discussions more!! Starting with yours =P lol
And you are very understandable! Don't worry about it =D
Thanks!

I think it mean that it shows how well you are ranked in that specific area for that interest area. I'm not real sure though. I think it also has to do something with how much input we have put in those interest areas too. I think you want to be ranked higher but I'm not really sure.

I think it has to do with how many times you write about something versus other people. I've come out #1 in a couple of topics that no one seems to be writing questions about besides me. So yes, I think lower numbers are good. Take care

Yes, the lower the number is the higher you are ranked. But I don't know what else this ranking means. I don't think that you get any extra earnings or free referrals or anything. It just shows that in this interest you are more popular that the 3,778 people below you in this interest.
I don't pay much attention to it really.
