I dislike beauty contests immensely as they just serve to make women into objects not real people its all for vanity and for money anddoes not teach any good lessons whatsoever. it feeds that old stupid thing about all women have to be size six and blonde and gorgeous without one bloody brain in their heads.

I really don't care for beauty contests. I really don't think it should matter what a person really looks like. It should be what is in their heart as to what matters the most. People focus too much on looks and beauty. I think it makes a bad impact on everyone.

hi kp!
well, i watch them if i have time. but if i have a beautiful daughter, i dunno, i will have second thoughts of letting her join. sometimes, beauty pageants make women like commodities. although i think that pageants present great opportunities but up to what price?
anyway, i think young ladies should be protected. if they are to join, parents should be there for them and not allow them to be abused.
