Adoption what do you think?

I think adoption is a wonderful thing,and I know first hand how adoption can change someones life.
Would you do it and why?I did it because I had a unexpected pregnancy and I was thinking of doing the best for my unborn child,which I had concidered abortion,but I was raised that was murder,so I looked at my other options and it was adoption.
I found a wonderful family,and its an open adoption they do bring him to see me and some might think that makes it hard to move on,but I fin it comforting seeing he is growing,and how well he is being cared for.I would have never took him back,because I know he is in a very loving home with great parents and I hepled someone who could not have children on their own.
So have you ever thought about it?or even done it,and if you did what are your thoughts on your decision to do so?

hahaha, i think it is both hard and easy... 
i think that people who offer adoption to others are both benefiting... it makes the child become happy if you know that the adopter would really take care of him it would also help the family adopting cause if they want a child bu can't have one, then they would really benefit having your child and sometimes, when you let people adopt your new born child, you help yourself too cause it would lessen to your working time, money, and your everyday routine..

I am on the opposite side of the fence. I am an adoptive mother. So first off even though you are not our birthmother I thank you. I dont know if you could every TRUELY understand the joy you have brought to someones life. Not only do I get the profound satisfaction of being a parent but I also get the added benefit knowing that I was chosen and entrusted to care for this little tiny being. Not onl do I love my child but i love her just a tiny bit extra because I know the horrible life she could have had.
I could never give up a child for adoption. I cant imagine the pain that you would go through but I sure do respect someone as mature as you to handle a decsion like that responsibly. I think abortion is a horrible selfish thing and Im sure if you ask your son about it someday he'd agree.
