the sweetest thing... what's the sweetest thing your partner ever did?

all day i was thinking all the stuff my hubby did to me that really touched my heart and just the thought of it makes me smile.
there are thousands of sweet thing that i can mention but i only want to share the sweetest and would like to hear about yours as well.
so here it goes.
for me the sweetest thing he ever did was when we are just getting to know each other,
he traveled back to my work place after his flight got canceled for two hours.
before he left the town he sees me first and told me he wont see me for a week or two coz he have a conference that he have to attend and would like to make sure that he said bye personally and would like to see me before he goes (without saying the word MISS me).
so we talked for awhile and he leaves for his flight.
i was thinking about him after he left and then suddenly after an hour i heard his voice at my back i thought i was just hallucinating coz i was like thinking about him since he left.
so when i checked my back i was like seeing a ghost coz it is crazy to really see him in front of me.
anyway, he told me that his flight was canceled and decided to comes back coz he is so hungry and couldnt stand the food at the airport so he decided to come back to see me and have something.
funny coz the trip going to the airport will last (minimum) 45min (an hour and half back and forth) and for someone to travel back and undergo such pain of traffic just to see me is really something.
anyway he didnt eat just drink a coke, haha he is so hungry that he just drink a coke when he can have it at the airport.
until now i am teasing him about all the stuff he did to win me, hahaha!
he have such a wonderful man and i couldnt ask for more.
my mom always tells me that i got the sweetest husband in the world coz she sees how much my hubby gives up for me and my family so i can be happy.
he did so much that really cracks me up but i cant tell coz someone might copy it then it wont be original no more.
hahaha!
anyway, what's your story?
i would love to know and get an idea, hahaha! just kidding!
just want to hear your stories that is all!

There is a man in my life. when i was outside at night he always insist on sending me back to my dormitory and then he goes to his own bedroom by school bus.(We are not in the the same compus, and it takes about 40 minutes in the jouney.)I asked why and he just sayed because i wanted. And i feel really good. I am not alone whenever i am on the way to school or to future.
He is my boyfriend,a lovely boy.He is very nice to me, sometimes he make me feel that i am a princess. Once i was slef-abandoned,lack of self-confidence. But it is the love that make me feel more confident and the world out of my heart is so splendid. All of my friends and classmates say that there are more sweet smiles on my face.

you sound very happy and in love, good for you!
i assume you're still young and i am not saying that what you feel is right or wrong coz of your age just wishing you happiness and hope that lovely boy of yours will remain that way even after years pass by.
it is a wonderful journey to be able to spend days with someone who knows how to love and value you like his princess.
sorry to hear about your past, we all have those past and it is always great to be back to a happy self again.
im sure most of your family and friends see that glows in your face and smiles coz i can feel it from your words.

My partner's a shy one.. And one valentines day, he invited me to attend to his company's party.. He brought two tickets for the two of us. When we get there, we were asked to join the parlor games which my partner really hates (be watched by people) I convinced him that we join because I want to get the price for that game. Maybe he realized that he forgot to buy me a valentine gift, he agreed to join in the game with me..
I think it's sweet sacrificing one of your fears for the one you love..

hahaha, that is funny! i can imagine his face, hahaha!
that is right, doing a sacrifice for your love is very sweet, most people neglect to realize small stuff like that and let such wonderful moment slip away, glad that you appreciate it and had a wonderful time at the party.

I was always complaining how my husband never bought me flowers on holidays. so one day he went to my mom's house and was gone for several hours then he came back pushing a wheel barrow full of white daisies . they were in huge clumps and ready to be planted. He said do not say I never bought you any flowers. these are for you. It was really sweet as I had a place for them in my front yard. You sound like you too have the best husband in the world.,bless you.

hahaha, talking about flowers.
i sure sound like you, lucky you haha!
i am still complaining about the flower thing coz he havent give me flowers yet for valentines day.
you must me very happy and surprise that very moment, haha! now you cant complain no more.
every time you go out side you see the plant as a reminder of his love by giving you a forever flower.
btw, my hubby had given me a flower one time and lots of roses, tulips and so many other flowery plants stating that 'EVERYDAY YOU WILL SEE AND HAVE A FLOWER FROM ME'
all i have to do is plant it right and take care of it.
i have to agree it is working haha!!!
congratulations on your happy marriage. there are lots of couple out there and rarely you hear or see a REAL happy couple out there.
