I was 12 years old when i got a chicken pox. it lasted for i think 7 or 8 days. and what i hate when i had a chicken pox was the smell, its smell like rotten fish or something and my mom won't allow me to take a bath, because she said it could irritate the virus more. and when my mom finally allowed me to take a bath (the wound i think was healed already), she gave me a pail of water with herbs, to use for bathing, mom said to remove the bad smell... wewwww... oh well ...
how about you how old are you when you got your chicken pox? how was it?

I got my chicken pox when I was 18. The first one was on my chin and I thought it was a pimple and I poke it. The next day it grew even bigger, double the size then I realise that it not pimple as it had a smaller one beside it and then it start to grow on other parts of my body.
I still take my bath everyday and it was not so bad.

I was 12 years old then and it was around January. I have to be absent from school for 2-4 weeks since I'm not allowed to go to school as I might infect my classmates.
It was itchy and I'm having a hard time to lay still in bed. It was really irritating plus the fact that some of them will leave a mark on your body. Those normally are the big ones.

I got them when I was about 8 I remember having to apply calamine lotion all over my body to stop the itching as they scar if you scratch the head off them. I have two scars one on the side of my nose right near the top and one on my stomach to this day. I don't remember not being able to take a bath but I do remember having a fever too as I felt really hot all the time.

I got my chicken pox when I was just 6 years old. I was in kindergarten that time. All I could remember is that I was absent from school for 2 to 3 weeks. It was actually our exam week that's why I just got a special exam after. I really felt very weak that time.

I was 9 and had them over the holiday season. I hated it and I want to say it lasted a couple of weeks for me. Course back then there wasn't any medicines or anything. To be honest I don't remember the smell. My sister had them at the same time. I remember most the calimine lotion my mom made us put on so we had all these pink dots on our faces.

I was ten when I had my chicken pox, together with my siblings. I too experienced how itchy and grossly smelly we became becuase of it; we weren't allowed to take a bath, we eat bland food, we are made to say at home, our outdoor play were restricted, etc, etc.
Well, honestly, deep inside me I was happy back then because I was not going to school for one straight week. Truly worth looking back at. lol
