Will best response will increase the earnings?

My reponse to some the discussions were marked as best response and the same has been informed to me through mail. Whether it increase my earning level. Will any one who has long connection and experience in mylot clarify?

For long, i also had the doubt. But now it seems the Br does not earn extra mony for you. one user told here ine day he did nothing here just got a Br. his earning was 0 cents fir that day.So i think it does not pay.

I am not so sure of the conclusion here - it could be perhaps that the best response gives only a portion of a cent so it is not showing up as an increase right away, or maybe they are not tallied by the same hour this user checked.. It is so difficult to judge the source of earnings, sometimes when you have done no posting in a day your earnings still go up a little - perhaps by adjustments, or maybe some activity to old discussions you had started.

I dont think anyone can answer it well.Because it is difficlt to know is it help our earing or not.I think it will not help us in our earnings.Thanks ganga

I do believe that being the recipient of best responses does help to boost your earnings - maybe not by huge increments, but nominal ones that add up over time.

I am also quite new but i dont think it got anything to do with earnings rather i think it boosts only your ratings and nothing more. I got one best response yesterday aswell but as compare to other day when i didnt got any best response i made less so i think its quite clear right?
