how can i get a Star?

Please help me get a star? I wonder why other have stars with a number 10 on it. what is this star anyway? will it increase your income if you have 10 star? or if you are new here, you can't get a star yet? Please advice me and give me some tips on how to do it or have it. All suggestions will be appreciated.

You have to reach 100 before a star appears before your name. The star is your reputation in the mylot community. Every discussion is rated by all mylotters. The higher the number on the star, the better. Though it looks nice having a star, it doesn't increase your income. Just keep on posting discussions and responses making sure it's as descriptive as possible. A one liner post doesn't increase your income, so try to make longer responses or discussions.

The way to get a star is to post a lot of discussions and respond to a lot also. Keep in mind that everything you write has to be what mylot administration considers "descriptive"...which means more than one or two sentences or words. Once people start rating your discussions and responses you will get a star and it will have your rating number in it. Good luck here on mylot I'm sure you will enjoy the time you spend here.

I started posting again yesterday. I noticed that my number is 16 by that time. I think I posted more than 5 discussions. But when I checked on mylot today, my number is still 16. So I wonder what happened. I think most of my post is not just one sentence or two. Or maybe it is not updated yet.. I'll try to check it later again after a few hours.

I think you get a star at two hundred but am not sure but keep making responses and make them good as you can and you will quickly move up I have been here just over a month and I have a red star no9 and have some 1800 responses which helps immensely

I dont think you get a star till your discussion number is over 100.
Join in as many discussions as possible, make a couple of discussions and have fun!!
