I smoked "pot" from the ages of about 15-22 (first tried it at 13), and then after that i smoked again on occasions, only about once a year, but in the last 6 months i have smoked often, not every day but often. Lately i've been having 1 or 2 joints every night before bed. I can give it up easy, i'm not addicted like i was when i was younger. I plan to stop soon. I'm just wondering how much i've smoked since i was 15, has affected my memory and my brain????? Sometimes i find my memory to be pretty bad, when i drink too much (no i don't drink a lot, i'm referring to when i go out clubbing once in a while) i tend to forget 90% of what was said or what happened (not major things, i remember major things that happen). Does anyone have an idea of how much it has affected my brain??

i don't know about it being "non-addictive", i was definitely addicted for quite a few years

There's more than one type of addiction.
If you habitually drink orange juice before going to bed for a year, you might have trouble sleeping if you stop drinking orange juice beforehand. Your brain gets in the habit of doing things a certain way and is applicable to any behavior.
What we're looking at is chemical addiction. It simply is not addictive in that way.
