I would turn my coworker in if it hinder my work. I refuse to carry another coworker and the work load they should be carrying. It makes my job that much harder. However if my boss did nothing I may would talk to that person myself. If nothing works I would start looking for different employment.

We have the same attitude, babystar. Atleast we're able to let them know our views. It's up to them to do an act or not. But if not it's goodbye time.

no of course if they had one off day or whatever but I am thinking about everyday day after day even you would get sick of it smerick. Also it would look bad on you and the job your daoing and could be seen as your problem not your coworkers.

I would make sure that this realy is inappropriate work, then I would think long on this as it is a drastic step to take. If you then decide that this has to be reported I would make an appointment with yourboss to talk it out. If your boss does nothing then I would just do my own job the best I could and let things rest.

It depends on your position, relationship and the severity of the nature of the said work. I say what ever does harm probably should be reported. You might want to think about it if the person is your best bud, tho.
