Bollywood now talking

Have you all heard of "Bollywood", the 'hindi' cinema.
Its the film industry of India.
It is one of those thing that has really started to make a mark for itself on the global platform along with the Indian economy over the year or so.
With the kind of movies being made, I think that it is really growing with a purpose.
In the past the only thing that mattered in movies in here was love and happy endings, but now the movies are touching a whole lot more topics with technically sound equipments and a lot of money. The movies like "Dhoom", "taare zameen par","Chakde India","Krrish" etc.
What do you feel, is it really the awakening of Indian cinema?

Yes I have heard of Bollywood and that's because I am from India. Yes I do agree with you that Bollwood is improving a lot now. earlier they used to have those typical love stories and all the movies had almost the story line. But now things are changing. today we have better stories, better director and better actors too.

I would like to suggest that if you like watching good movies and if you have not yet seen RACE, then go and watch, you will enjoy, its a complete entertainer. Thanks for the response.
