My son's school is having its annual Book Fair this week. Tonight is the night when the parents can come to the school and pick out some books with their children. The school gets books too based on how many books are sold at the Book Fair. Do your kids have Book Fairs? Do you buy any books?

Both of my girls schools have Book Fairs pretty regularly. I've bought books from there in the past, but they are kind of expensive and the girls don't always take care of their books (they're 3 and 5). I'm trying to teach them to be responsible for what they have before I buy them anymore.

My dad supported the book fair when I was growing up, I had two brothers and two sisters and we all were given a
25$ check to use toward it. Thinking about it, it seems kind of shocking that my dad would trust me and my younger sister to hold the check because we were only in like second grade and he did that up until 5th grade. Anyways, nothing bad ever did happen. But every one of those books I got from that Book Fair I treated like gold, and still remember the stories today.

Last week was my daughters book fair at school. This is the second book fair her school has had this year.I went to school and together we picked out a few books.I think it is a great way to get children into reading and helping out the school at the same time.So yes I do support the school at the book fair and other school functions.

No book fairs yet. But my daughter is only in pre-school. They do send in those Scholastic book forms. But, here lately we get our books from Bookmooch.com It's a good site my sister in law told me about.
