It's not just virtual-you can link paypal to your bank account and withdraw money when you need it..there are various services and online stores that accept Paypal..Skype is one..You can use your Paypal account with Ebay..I've ordered things from some US websites and had them delivered to the UK..credit cards may be more widespread for online shopping, but the convenience of signing in with your paypal email address and password rather than rooting for your card details is much better..

I have a PayPal Debit Card that I use wherever . . . restaurants, stores, online, anywhere in the world. Of course, you can only spend what's in your PayPal account. You can apply for the card at the PayPal site. It's wonderful.

Hello dear laurika. I think that we can buy things directly by using our earnings from our paypal though I have not used it yet. Because when we got registered at Paypal, it seems to have some lines of words that we could use the Paypal money to buy things online or get it transfered to our own bank account...

I use mine mostly for buying on eBay and a few other online stores, but also occasionally for transferring from one account to another. It is also a great place to receive money earned from PTW programs, not only myLot, but Triond and several others that pay in this way. I love PayPal and do still remember when many people were afraid to use it.

Yes. You can transfer Paypal money straight to your bank account and then you can spend it however you like also. You can actually buy things with the money online also. Alot of sites accept Paypal money for payment. It is real money. You can buy things from Ebay for one. There are many places that accept Paypal though.

I know that you can use it on eBay and there is another site called ClassicCloseouts where you purchase antique clothing for dirt cheap. One of the things you may want to do is type, "Online stores that accept Paypal," in the search engine and see what you come up with.

Yes you can actually transfer the paypal "fund" into your own bank account. I have been doing that after reaching a certain amount! If you don't want to do that, usually you can use it for items on ebay because most of the sellers there usually accept paypal as a form of payment.

there are thousands of places you can use paypal, you can even order something from say Walgreens(ugh..) and pay with paypal! If you owed me $$ you could send me payment through paypal, if you bought off someone through ebay, or bigbigsavings almost anywhere takes it. go onto paypal.com and check to see if there is a link of places to use paypal, I have never had to ask but I am sure there is, if not you can contact them and ask them and they will reply relitively fast. They have been good to me since 1998. Good luck with your account it is alot easier than sending a money order or a check!

I've already registered, I didn't know how it works until march this year.
It is very convenient because it's 100% free, multi-purpose such as payment, foreign exchange and getting paid. Once I get paid, I can transfer my money to my bank account !!!...so I very love it..
Most of online business and home-based jobs highly recommend people to use paypal for payment.
