I would sure like to see these abandoned stations too. I suppose there are no tours, if I should ever get to NYC. The section commenting on the book "The Mole People" was pretty good too, dispelling some of the myths created by her book and correcting some of the descriptions of the places the homeless stay in abandoned tunnels. He took a lot of time and effort there too.
The photos in London taken on the bicycle track remind me of a few places in Ohio where they made walking and cycling paths on old railroad lines.
All in all very interesting.

abandoned subway stations, whole stations, that is concept, we don't have any hear in montreal, they are all in use and in fact that just made a new extention to one of them so more people can have access to service on and off the island of montreal. yes I guess I would like to see an abandoned one and what shape it is in etc.

I would love to see things like this. I used to hate history when I was younger. I just was not interested in it at all. It inspires me now. There are many places and many things I would love to go and do these days. I want to see all that I can. I have not been hardly anywhere in my life and I truly want to but cannot afford it. I love to see these types of things on television also.

Could be a new craze of people buying them and turning them into houses or hotels. Would be very interesting indeed.

Thanks for the links. There is alot to see in the hidden areas of our industrial societies. Alot of hidden beauty, alot of history and alot of forgotten dreams.
