how long did you know your couple before you married her/him?

I've known my husband for 8 yrs before we got married...It's better if you know each other well before you get married...

We were together 2 years before we got engaged, were engaged 2 years and we're getting married in 2 months.

I am single for now, but I think it is not important how long you are with someone. Important is to try living together. I tried in my last relationship and it has not worked so well. If that works minimum for 6 months then you are ready for marriage (that is my opinion).

I know my husband since childhood and we got married 9 months back.

I married my husband after being with him for 2 and a half years. We were together for a year before he proposed and then another year and a half before we got married. As a little piece of advise do not let other tell you that you should marry her allready. If you want it to work then you nee to wait until it is right for the both of you. For example I have a cousin that got married inthe same month and year as I did. He married the woman that he had been with for 19 years. So don't worry about the amount of time that you have been together worry about if it is right for you.

i have a boyfriend,we are getting along with each other for almost nine years,but in this period,we have broke up three times,and maybe the true love is about three years.and now we broke up again,i think there will no chance for us to get together for another time,so if you want to married someone,do not love too long,just for one more two years,then they will be married.

I have known my husband for 10 years before we got married... seem like a long time to get to know someone... but then... one will never fully know a person unless the two of you live in the same roof... but then there is always fun in that getting to know aspect...

i knew my fiancee for like 1 year before we got engage. we were like together, everywhere.. we've been going strong for almost four years now. We decided to hold back on marriage and finish our studies first before thinking about getting married.

I am on my 2nd (and last!) marriage. I lived with my ex for 8 years before we got married and we divorced after 2 years. My husband now and I lived together for 4 years before we got married.

I have been in a relationship with my fiance for 2 years March. As I said we are engaged but don't have a date or anything planned out. We have lots going on right now that is preventing that from happening along with other engagements in life as well. So right now that part is on hold. We got engaged after just over a year of dating. Some people wait along time and others wait a short time. My girlfriend for instance has been dating her fiance for 7 years before they got engaged.

My husband and I dated for 5 1/2 years then got married. It's been 2 1/2 years in the married life. I'm loveing every minute of it as well.
