I noticed that the trend of making blogs nowadays are revisions of other blogs. Isn't the quality of the content declining in the sense? please post your reply.

Blogs in a sence, are a book about the author. Some people are very humorous to read about, and some actually have a message we're interested in hearing, which is whats so great about blogging, it helps those people with a purpose reach the rest of the community that they couldn't otherwise reach. The problem is, not everyones funny, nor does everyone have something to say that the rest of us care to hear about. But, because thier funny friend has a successful blog that everyone reads, they want one too. As blogging spreads more and more, your getting more and more people without a purpose making blogs. So without a purpose, what is there to write about? Yup, write about stuff thats already been writen, put it in your own words, and because your not very witty, the way it was originally writen is better than the recreation of it. That pretty much sums up about 805 of the blogs out there doesn't it? You should be required to pass a test before having your own blog, the test should judge how much creativity you have, and how much original content you have to post on your blog.

Yes i agree with you. it's just that blogging nowadays are a means of earning and a number of people wants the easy way of semi-copying with revisions, i wonder how many revisions are there in just one blog. Thank you for your views monkey made.

This is the case with many things. All things have to take a dip after a while. New things crop up..

A lot of people have the misconception that it is easy to blog because many people are able to earn from blogging. But little do they know that in order to earn, they have to provide good quality content, post regularly and get people excited....And because most of them just want the quick success, they just copy and paste from others or imitate other people or just post for the sake of posting... These are reasons why the quality of blogs drop... Nevertheless, there are still some good ones waiting to be seen....

yes you are right. A lot people do that. but doesn't this affect those people who are really creating and genuinely doing their homework. I hope they won't because i felt that if the quality declines we really won't get the real thing that we need to know. like if you are searching on some technical, delicate issues.
